RIU Kaya Hotel

A good budget option, RIU Kaya hotel is an economical choice for a golf hotel in high golfing season. The rooms are large and of a good standard, and although the hotel is in reality more of a 4* property, the price makes up for this. With a free shuttle to Kaya Eagles and preferential tee times and rates there, Kaya offers a good resort package. The rooms have recently been renovated, and the public areas are all of a good standard too. The food is good, and in summer 24 hour drinks are included in the all inclusive concept, and until 0200 in the winter.

Kaya Eagles Belek is a themed course carrying the THA signature of internationally famous designer David Jones. He explains: 'At Kaya, I had a compact site to work with and decided to aim for a shorter layout which would be enjoyable for all golfers.'

This good solid course is not a walk over, and still requires a strong nerve. The Kaya Belek course has many interesting holes and features eucalyptus trees and a 750.000 m2 pine forest. The Kaya course is teamed up with the Eagles Charity Golf Club, who organise several tournaments a year to raise money for worthy causes. The Eagles Charity Golf Club has raised 10 million euros in revenue in the last 11 years.

The clubhouse is smaller and more understated than many of the others in Belek, and is a refreshing change from some of the more opulent designs.
